Rev Chui suffered from serious pneumonia 4 times and cancer for 4 times in the past 16 years. Yet he is still preaching the Gospel. When BASIC Volunteers learnt this, they arranged Rev Chiu and his wife to revisit The Alliance Bible Seminary in Cheung Chau to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary.
Volunteers helped edit and published his stories in fighting his illnesses. Entitled “Dance with suffering: Walk with suffers”, the book brought huge encouragement for people in sufferings. Rev Chu organized the distribution of the book to churches and religious bodies. May his story bring comforts to those in pain.
